EDMONTON, Alberta, May 31 (Bernama-GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- DrugBank, the world's most complete and up-to-date pharmaceutical knowledge database, expands coverage to better serve global customers. Seven new additional regions have been added to its product offering including Austria, Colombia, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Thailand, and Turkey. On top of DrugBank’s existing coverage, customers can access new drug datasets for drug products and drug indications, specific to each new region.
“With these new additions, our pharmaceutical knowledge base becomes even more accessible and comprehensive,” explains Mike Wilson, CEO of DrugBank. “It allows new customers around the world better access to our product offerings, and helps existing customers grow into new markets”. For clinical software customers, such as those in the electronic medical records (EMR) industry, they can use their local region as an entry point to the rest of DrugBank’s structured clinical information. Those who operate in multiple regions can access clinical information through any combination of regions with one single API. More customers around the world can now search and store up-to-date medications faster and with more accuracy. According to a statement, TNS can now offer its full suite of services, including TNS Layer 1 raw market data and order routing, from a new Managed Hosting presence within the Tier 1 area of SGX’s data centre. Housed in one of Singapore’s most advanced data centres, SGX’s Co-Location service provides multiple tiers of hosting services to cater to diverse requirements. It offers superior levels of bandwidth and capacity for seamless transfer of data and boasts a round trip network latency of less than 100 microseconds. “We’re excited to be expanding our relationship with SGX and taking space at the SGX Colocation Data Center,” said TNS’ Financial Markets business Senior Director of Product Management, Jeff Mezger. “SGX has been a popular endpoint within our financial community of interest for many years, and it’s a significant step to be able to help customers benefit further by offering our low latency access to the SGX trading and matching engines via our new Managed Hosting presence. “With TNS Layer 1 now available in Singapore, customers have access to an ultra-low latency connection that delivers at speeds between five to 85 nanoseconds. “We believe TNS delivers the fastest and most comprehensive connectivity solutions for customers in the SGX colocation facility.” TNS’ local teams in the country, combined with its global operations resources, enable it to find and coordinate resources easily, procure facilities and hardware, and take care of project management, system installation, testing and commissioning requirements. -- BERNAMA KUALA LUMPUR, May 27 -- Dubai Cares, Expo 2020 Dubai and the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation (MoFAIC) have come together to launch Dignified Storytelling.
According to a statement, it is aimed at creating an ecosystem fostering shared understanding and practice of storytelling, maintaining and upholding the dignity of all persons and contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals. Dignified Storytelling was born out of the need to unite the voices of content makers, editors, journalists, photographers, filmmakers, storytellers and contributors and equip them with the awareness and hands-on knowledge to capture moments and tell stories without compromising human dignity. In order to fulfill this need, Dignified Storytelling kickstarted global consultations a year ago, to solicit cross-sectoral perspectives on storytelling within development and humanitarian contexts, as well as set and agree on the Dignified Storytelling Principles. These foundational principles are also guiding the consultative development of an accessible and practical Dignified Storytelling Handbook which provides ‘how-to’ guidance and concrete best practice case studies. Cross-sectoral perspectives and insights from a diverse group of storytellers and experienced stakeholders from governments, UN agencies, international and local NGOs, and civil society are currently informing this valuable framework and resource. Dubai Cares, Expo 2020 Dubai and UAE MoFAIC have established a Dignified Storytelling Alliance, a network of champions that provides advocacy, in-kind support, and input on programme deliverables. Representation includes a deliberately diverse range of viewpoints from organisations, individuals and governments who are able to share best practices from their on-the-ground experiences within a range of development contexts. -- BERNAMA |
